Joseph Duelk Jr. - AOH Division 1Michael T. Beck
Michael T. Beck was born in Middletown, NY to John (Jay Bee) and Nora (Tessie) Beck. Michael was the third born of three children in a large extended Irish family. His father John was born in the Bronx. Michael’s mother, Nora, was born in Manhattan, hailing from Inwood. His Irish roots run deep with his Mother’s parents born in Limerick City. His paternal great-grandmother was born in County Cork. Most recently, in 2024, his sister (Mary) took a trip to re-connect with cousins, still in Limerick today.
Michael grew up in South Blooming Grove, NY with a close-knit family to this day. His cousins had a family of eight children born from 1954-1966: effectively having 10 brothers and sisters, being the youngest and most protected one. Michael’s father played the drums in the AOH Division 1 band from the late 70’s till his passing in 1984.
Michael graduated from Washingtonville High School in 1984. He is an Eagle Scout from Troop 316. He went on to get a bachelor’s degree at SUNY Geneseo. He has spent most of his work life in transportation sales, logistics and commercial insurance (26 years with UPS). He also ran a small moving company with his deceased brother, John, for many years: North South Movers.
Michael is currently the Standing Committee chair and proud member of Orange County AOH Joseph D. Duelk Jr Division One, in Monroe, NY. Michael currently serves as the fund raising organizer for the Tom McCarthy Food Bank raffle.
Michael is extremely humbled to have been nominated to be an Aide in the 2026 Mid-Hudson Saint Patrick’s Parade, in Goshen, NY and will accept that position with great honor!
Father Donald J. Whalen - AOH Division 2John F. Schroeder
John F. Schroeder was born in January 1960, in The Bronx, New York, to Bill and Joan Schroeder. The family moved to Spring Valley, New York, where John was a member of Saint Joseph’s Parish. He was an altar boy, sang in the choir and a member of the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO). While in the CYO, John was a recipient of the Cardinal Spellman Youth Award.
John graduated high school in 1978 and joined the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union 363 as an electrician where he proudly worked for more than 40 years.
He is the proud parent of John and Kelly and proud grandparent of Gracie and Ali. John is a proud member of The Sons of the American Legion and an extremely proud member of the Father Donald J. Whalen AOH Division 2 in Cornwall, New York.
He has obtained both of his AOH degrees, an active member in AOH Division 2, and an officer in the AOH-DJW Corp, the property arm of AOH Division 2. John is known to work tirelessly at all the Division 2 events.
John is very honored to have been selected to represent AOH Division 2 as their Aide to the 2026 Grand Marshal in the Mid-Hudson Saint Patrick’s Parade.

McGuinness - McDonald - AOH Division 3 Peter Riley
Born in Mount Kisco, NY, Brigadier Peter Riley is the Commander of the New York Guard, the all-volunteer segment of the New York State Defense Forces. COL Peter Riley retired from the New York Army National Guard in May 2019 after 30 years of commissioned service. He joined the New York Guard as a Colonel in April of 2020 and became the Commander of Task Force COVID North, a New York Military Forces response to the COVID-19 pandemic, for 100 days. COVID North Task Force had over 600 New York Army and Air National Guard and New York Guard Service Members that supported six testing sites and two distribution Centers from Albany to Niagara Falls. He was promoted in the New York Guard to Brigadier General in September 2021.
COL Riley was the Commander for Joint Task Force Empire Shield (JTF-ES) in NYC from 2011 until his retirement in 2019. JTF-ES is a full time, 780 person continuous anti-terrorism Task Force that conducts armed patrols and is responsible for deterring terrorism in transit hubs in NYC. JTF-ES also responded during and after Hurricane Sandy in 2012.
Riley served as the Deputy G1 as a Major with the 42nd Infantry Division in Tikrit, Iraq from 2004-2005. As a Captain he served in NYC at Ground Zero following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. He also served in both the 210th Armor and 101 Cavalry in the New York Army National Guard as a Lieutenant.
BG Riley’s military awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Iraq Campaign Medal, NYS defense of Liberty medal w/World Trade Center 9/11 service device, the Meritorious Services Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Overseas Service Ribbon. He resides in Warwick, NY with his wife Maryanne and has a son (Conor) of Auburn NY and a daughter (Quinn) of Greenwich, CT.
Fr. Emmanuel Hourihan - AOH Division 4Eugene Heppes
Eugene Heppes is happily married to his loving beautiful bride, Sharon, and they have three loving children Connor, Sean and Caitlin. He has served as CYO Director and basketball coach, little league baseball and softball coach and youth mentor for many years. He is an Information Technology and Security Risk Governance Executive. Eugene's background has been in the IT and Security Management Systems. He worked specifically in Global Banking, IT and Infrastructure Management, IT Security Risk Governance, managed Federal and Regulatory Compliance investigations, designed and managed IT Teams that managed Data Centers for IT Systems and Applications. He has served in several management capacities for several private and commercial banking institutions, global consumer goods and products companies, global construction companies, and health care institutions.
In the local community Eugene has served as a volunteer for many organizations and as youth coach and mentor. He served on the local boards of Little League, St. Brendan's Gaelic Athletic Association, St. Patrick CYO Director, basketball coach and a mentor for the Boys and Girls Club Newburgh. He is a member in good standing of the AOH. He earned his Masters from the Wesley J. Howell School of Management at the Stevens Institute of Technology, BS from Nyack College, Associates from Orange County Community College and graduated from John S Burke Catholic High School. Eugene is honored to serve as an Aide to the Grand Marshal, Brian McCabe who he worked with at Bon Secours Good Samaritan Sisters of Charity Hospital in Suffern, NY..
Our Lady of Knock - LAOH Division 2Helen Mary Finn
Helen Mary Finn was born in The Bronx to Peter and Mary Hraniotis. Helen’s Irish heritage stems from her mother’s side of the family with roots in County Armagh and County Leitrim. To this day Helen's soda bread recipe has been handed down through the generations. Helen is extremely proud that her ancestors were noted Civil War soldiers who earned their citizenship through their military service to the North.
Helen moved from the Bronx to Walden, NY at the age of five after her father sold the family restaurant on Water Street, Manhattan. Helen grew up with her brother Terry and sister Christine and attended CCD classes completing her sacraments at Most Precious Blood Church in Walden. Helen graduated from Valley Central High School in Montgomery where she was an avid varsity soccer, basketball and volleyball player. Helen was also a girl scout and clarinet player in high school.
Helen became a Registered Nurse in 1987 and worked her entire career at Montefiore Saint Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh, NY where she retired after 35 years of service. Helen married Patrick Finn (Roscommon & Kerry) in 1987 raising their four children in Montgomery: daughter Mary Reddan (deceased) married to James Reddan (Co. Clare), son Steven married to Ana, parents to grandchildren Mary, Stella, and Leo, their son Kevin and their daughter Alyson Finn (deceased).
Helen watched her children growing up playing baseball, swimming, football, and yes, Helen was also a "Feis Mom" and was always prepared for every "wardrobe malfunction!" Helen was also a Scout leader for her sons and daughters and proud that she guided her Girl Scout cadets, Troop 714, in completing their Bronze award. All four children attended college and earned their bachelor degrees. Helen and Patrick were members of the Irish Dancing and Music Association and walked up 5th Ave. many times in the Saint Patrick’s Day Parades in N.Y.C. as their daughter Alyson step-danced up 5th Avenue. Helen and Patrick were members of the Cornwall Ceili Dance Group for several years. When Helen retired in September of 2022, she became a member of the LAOH Division 2 Cornwall where she tirelessly works for the good of the Order. Presently Helen is an alternate parade delegate for her division. Helen is honored to be an Aide to the Grand Marshal representing Our Lady of Knock LAOH Division 2 Cornwall NY for the 2026 Mid-Hudson Saint Patrick’s Parade.
Mary of the Gael - LAOH Division 5Kathleen (Kat) Parker
Kathleen (Kat) Parker was born in Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn to Matthew and Margaret Sullivan. She is the youngest of 5 children. Kathleen attended grade school at St. Thomas Aquinas. At the age of 13 she moved to Rockaway Beach, NY where she attended Stella Maris High School. Upon graduation she went straight out into the business world of NYC. Kathleen currently works in the Insurance Industry. Kathleen married her husband, Steven Parker in 2004. They packed up and moved to Campbell Hall where they began their new lives together. They are the proud parents of Liam & Riley Parker.
Kathleen is a second-generation proud Irish American. Her Grandmother, Geraldine Munnelly, hailed from Swinford, County Mayo. Her Irish roots go back many generations in Mayo. Her family still resides there today. In 2022 she traveled to Ireland where she visited her grandmother's childhood home and bakery that was owned by her great grandparents.
Kathleen is a proud member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division 5, where she has served as Vice President for 5 years. She is also the Coordinator for their Junior Girls Division. She has also served on many boards throughout Monroe and Washingtonville such as St. Brendan’s Gaelic Football/Hurling, Wizards Football and Soccer and is very involved in her community and is always willing to lend a hand when needed.
Kathleen is honored to be chosen to march alongside her daughter Riley Parker, President of the LAOH Division 5 Junior Division, in this year's 2026 Mid-Hudson St. Patrick’s Parade as Aide to Grand Marshal, Brian McCabe.
Greenwood Lake Gaelic Cultural SocietyKeith Garley
Keith Garley is originally from Jersey City, New Jersey. His parents, Doris and Walter, moved their family of five to Greenwood Lake the year Keith was entering Kindergarten. Keith attended the Greenwood Lake Schools and then graduated from Monroe-Woodbury High School in 1972. Upon graduation, Keith’s father kindly directed him to “Get a job, tomorrow (or something like that)” and so he started his job as a mechanic and worked at it until he was 29. During this time Keith met his loving wife, Donna. Keith entered the NYPD and served 20 years before retiring. In 2015 Keith was elected Greenwood Lake Village Justice and still is currently serving in that position. During this time, he has served as President of the Orange County Magistrates. Keith has also served as Commander of the American Legion Sons of Post 1443.
Keith and Donna have 4 children (Claudette and husband Jason, Shawn and wife Colene, Danielle and husband Jason, and John and wife Jami) and 7 grandchildren (Esme, Stella, Grayson, Michaela, Reagan, Riley and Kylie) who they both love so much stating "they are all awesome." Keith enjoys bass fishing and both he and his wife love their lives in groovy Greenwood Lake. They are devoted to their family and are blessed with wonderful friends who are always there to help through good and bad. They love their lives and there is no place on earth they would rather live. Irish Heritage FestivalCathy Blumrath
Cathy Blumrath was born in Ireland, and her parents were from Galway. Her father hailed from Loughrea and her mother from Ballinsloe. Cathy moved to Orange County in 1976. Where she became a member of the Middletown Irish American Club, and the Friendly Sons & Daughters in Goshen. She was involved in bringing the Sheehan-Gormley Dance School to Middletown. She and her husband Paul were active supporters of the Irish Heritage Festival and have continued to be active in the Irish Community for over 50 years.
Cathy is the mother of three children and the proud grandmother of Adam,
Ellias and Harris. Her beloved husband Bob was of Polish extraction but loved Ireland and brought all their children back to Ireland for visits. Bob always said that he would travel anywhere in the world but only if they stopped in Ireland along the way. Cathy’s grandfather fought with Michael Collins in the War of Independence that lasted from 1919 until 1921 and was part of the Land Divide System which concluded with the partition of the island of Ireland into Northern Ireland under British control and the Irish Free State what is today known as the Republic of Ireland.
Cathy is proud to serve as the Irish Heritage Festival Aide to the Grand Marshal in the 49th Annual Mid-Hudson St. Patrick’s Parade.
St. Brendan's Gaelic Football ClubNoel Moloney
Noel Moloney was born in the Bronx to two young Irish emigrants, Michael and Eileen Moloney. Along with his three sisters, he was raised in the Bronx and Queens, with several summers spent with family in Galway and Donegal.
In 1981, Noel started his 43-year career in law enforcement by entering the New York State Correctional Services Academy. After five years of working for Corrections, Noel joined the New York City Police Department. For his first assignment, he was stationed in the 42nd Precinct in the South Bronx. In 1993, Noel was transferred to the Technical Assistance Response Unit (TARU). His first call with TARU was to the World Trade Center Bombing. The following year, Noel was promoted to rank of Detective. During the devastating events of September 11th, 2001, he was assigned to rescue and recovery. The following year, his twin sons were born and Noel decided to retire to spend more time with his family, after twenty-one years of distinguished service.
The next chapter of Noel’s life has proven to be the most rewarding in an already productive life. In 2003, he joined the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Service (CBP). Using the skills and expertise he acquired with Corrections and the NYPD, Noel quickly rose through the ranks and was named Chief of Outbound Cargo Tactical Operation for the Port of NY/NJ. Under his leadership, the Outbound Team he created led the country in the recovery of stolen vehicles. Noel was named a Subject Matter Expert in the export field. He retired in January of this year but during his tenure he received many awards including the Donegal Man of the Year by the Donegal Association, the Top 40 Law Enforcement Awards by the Irish Echo and the very prestigious Defending America Award.
In his spare time, Noel is the President of St. Brendan’s GAA Club and the historian for the NYPD Gaelic Football Club. During the holidays, he dresses as Santa Claus on the Polar Express out of Kingston, NY. He works in the carriage devoted to autistic children and contributes his compensation to the not-for-profit group, Autism Speaks. He is also an avid golfer and loves to fish.
Noel has been married to his lovely wife, Helen, for nearly 30 years. Helen is a native of Moate, Co. Westmeath. She and Noel return to Ireland frequently. Their sons Niall and Stephen are now adults, living in Seattle and Hoboken, respectively. Noel speaks to his “boys” numerous times daily and the Moloney family get together as often as possible. Despite a very successful career in law enforcement Noel considers his family his greatest achievement.
He is excited and honored to be an aide to the Grand Marshal, Brian McCabe, and is grateful for the opportunity.

Denis Kenny was born in Killoe, County Longford, immigrated to America in 1974, and worked in the building industry until retirement in 2020. He has been a member of the Longford Association for 50 years.
Denis is married to Sheila Mullin from Inishmore, Aran Islands, County Galway. Denis and Sheila have resided in Monroe, NY for 30 years.
Denis previously played Gaelic Football in Gaelic Park for County Longford.
Denis is an active member of the Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of Lourdes Council 5890, Third Degree. He is also a member of Monsignor William Foley Assembly 771. Denis and Sheila are parishioners of Saint Mary’s Church in Washingtonville.

Riley Parker
Riley Parker is a 17-year-old senior at Washingtonville High School. Riley was born in Campbell Hall, NY. She is the proud daughter of Kathleen & Steven Parker and sister to Liam Parker.
Riley is a third-generation Irish American with her Great Grandmother hailing from Swinford, County Mayo, Ireland. She was exposed to her Irish heritage at a young age. Growing up she spent her days watching Gaelic games, attending many functions at the AOH and Irish dancing for the Sheahan Gormley School of Irish Dance. Riley currently is the past Vice President and current President for the LAOH Division 5 Junior Girls Division where she has been a member since 2017.
As a student, Riley is very passionate about her academics. She has been a High Honor Student throughout her high school career. She is a 2-year member of the National Honors Society. She also belongs to the “Wizards Against Cancer” club. When she graduates, she will continue her studies in hopes of becoming a Pediatric Nurse.
